Baking Time: Apple Turnovers

When I get bored, I eat. Mostly I'm too lazy to make myself something and just take some ready made food.
Now I decided to bake something! Apple Turnovers!

YOU NEED

PUFF PASTRY (Bought mine in Aldi)

APPLES

YOLK

SUGAR and CINNAMON
LET'S BAKE

First I made the apple turnover's filling. I took a pot and cut the apples into little squares. Then I added a huge amount of sugar and cinnamon to give it a little taste. To make the mix a little bit more juicy, I let it rest for a few minutes, then stirred it and let it rest again.

In the meantime I cut little circles out of the puff pastry. This I did with help of a little plastic bowl.

When your pastry exists of just a few little circles we can start filling them up.

I used a little fork to stick the two ends together

Then it's time to make them even sweeter. Decorate your turnover with some sugar. Use yolk to make the sugar stick to the pastry.

Make sure to poke some holes in the turnover so the edges won't split.

Now bake them in a preheated over at 200°C for about 15-20min en VOILA!

hmmmm! enjoy!

I'll see you laters alligators!
