DIY: Cardboard Desk Organiser

Hi everybody!
Sorry that it took so long for me to upload another post, but it has been a rough couple of weeks. School is almost over and all the teachers suddenly decide to give us a gazillion assignments before final exams. And me being a good planner and organiser (NOT) I had a bit trouble fulfilling these assignments. But all is well now and the last thing on my list this year is making my exams as good as possible.

When you're studying or supposed to , you suddenly have a lot of free time (free time= time that you should actually use to prepare yourself for final exams). In my case I start doing lot's of things that have nothing to do with school. For example, making myself  a little cardboard desk organiser. haha

Now all you need to make one like this , is:

- 3 cardboard boxes

- Lot's of pictures, cards, magazines,...

- tape (I used paper tape to write and paint on)

- scissors

- stuff to fill it up :P

LET'S START

First thing you need to do, is place the boxes on top or next to each other. I chose to put them on top of each other. This is totally up to you! Go on, be a free spirit!

Once you found the perfect construction, tape them to each other. Make it really sturdy.

You can also tape a little box or boxes in these boxes like I did in the second box.
box boxes boxes box box boxes.

Now it's time for the fun part!
DECORATING and making a mess!!!

Just start attaching all kinds of pictures, cards, articles,.. to the box until you can't see the cardboard anymore. This is what the left side looks like.

For the corners I cut out triangular pieces.

This is the result of the right side.

I decided to keep the squares on the right side open and finished them off with tape.

I chose to draw a zebra pattern on the tape of the second square to make it a little bit more chaotic.

I colored the square on the ground floor black. So now we have a white, zebra and black window.

Now this is the result of my little cardboard desk organiser. woehoe! I should really start studying now...

I hope you liked this DIY and let me know if I should make more.

See you laters alligators!
