Yihaa!
Yesterday was a blast and kind of a busy evening for me. First of all the weather was amazing. We rarely get visited by Ms. Sunshine for a whole day in April without it starting to rain (We call it Aprilse grillen= April shivers(?)). Friends of mine invited me to have dinner with them. Nothing like a fancy dinner. Just a typical evening where students save money and eat lots of food together (sing along). Afterwards we drank some cocktails and carried on to a karaoke student party.
FOOD
Lore, a good friend of mine, knows how to make the best rotisserie chicken. Of course she has an amazing oven. But without her seasoning skills that oven means nothing, NOTHING I tell you! So chicken with baked potatoes and applesauce it was. And it was supercalifragilisticexpialidelicicous!

DRINKS
After dinner Lore, her boyfriend and me decided to go to a cosy cocktailbar called Barville in the center of Ghent. I haven't been there before, but Lore had and she suggested I should take a mango mojito. So I did! A good suggestion. After the mojito it was time for round 2. Again I listened to Lore when she said this 'Macao' was very tasty. She said it's like a tiramisu, but with more booz (way more, haha). She was right. again.

SING
We ended the night in a student café called Salto. They have lots of fun events and yesterday happened to be a karaoke night. It was funny hearing all those students sing. Of course I sang as well. Didn't say it was good though. haha

Yesterday was fun! I hope the rest of the week and next week and the week after that and after that and... will be as much fun. I doubt it...Final exams are on their way. BUT doesn't mean we can't enjoy ourselves, right?
